Privacy notice
Last updated: 3 June 2026
ReportProof is a pre-launch project. This page explains, in plain language, what personal data I collect when you visit this site or join the waitlist, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The data controller is Ami Heines, based in Israel. Contact: info@reportproof.com.
What I collect
- Your email address, and only that, when you submit the waitlist form.
- Basic, anonymous usage statistics via my own self-hosted Matomo analytics (pages viewed, approximate region, referrer). IP addresses are anonymised and no tracking cookies are set. I do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, or any third-party trackers.
Why I use it, and my legal basis
- Waitlist email — to send you occasional updates about ReportProof and to contact you about early access. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Anonymous statistics — to understand whether this page is useful and improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in measuring a website I run, using privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics.
Who can see it
I do not sell or rent your data. It is handled only by tools I run myself on my own servers: a self-hosted mailing-list system (Listmonk), self-hosted analytics (Matomo), and my own mail server for any reply I send you. Hosting is provided by OVH in the European Union.
International transfers
Because I operate from Israel, your data may be accessed from there. Israel holds an EU adequacy decision, meaning the European Commission recognises it as providing an adequate level of data protection, so this transfer is lawful under GDPR.
How long I keep it
I keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe, or until I decide not to proceed with ReportProof — after which I delete it. You can ask me to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data I hold about you;
- have it corrected or erased;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect prior processing);
- object to, or ask me to restrict, processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, email info@reportproof.com. Every email I send also includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Changes to this notice
As ReportProof develops, this notice may change. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
